Kindred Voices- A Mycelial Constellation

Not all constellations are in the sky. Sometimes they emerge from the soil and compost of what has come before. These little fungi are popping up with a shared vision, converting nutrients and water in structural form. I feel the same way about many artists, creators, poets, activists and writers who have a love of myth and the earth. They may be scattered but the are connected.

Some of these people I have created with, some I have danced with, some I have learned from and many I have admired deeply from afar. Their continued courage to share with the world inspires me, whether it be in quiet ways or more audibly noticeable. I believe every time we share our creativity- we are putting out a little message through the mycelial constellation network- saying “I am here” and “I see you”.
